Maintenance

Customer Service

Your St Joris is built for life. To keep your machine in optimal condition, we advice to have yours serviced at least once a year. We are ready for you in our workshop for your annual service, holiday checks or replacements of worn parts.

For the annual service of your machine, we advise to book a spot in December, Januari or February, so that we can prepare your bike before spring to enjoy a hassle-free season.

Paint services

Re-imagination

Your St Joris frameset is build for years, decades, maybe even for life. We can imagine that – one day – you might want to have a fresh paint scheme and have your bike upgraded with the latest generation of componentry.

We build durable custom framesets for our clients and offer a re-imagination service in case you ever want to repaint your bike.

The first step of a re-imagination, after complete disassembly of your St Joris, is the removal of the paintwork. The frame is carefully treated at a professional partner to completely remove all paint, including primer paint. The fork is sanded down completely by hand. We have then basically arrived at the same state where an original build in our workshop ends, ready for fine glass-bead blasting in-house and an anti-corrosion treatment with one of our partners. From this point on, your frame and fork return to our painter for fresh paintwork: primer, color artwork in uni, metallic, pearl or candy paint and a double clearcoat in glossy or any degree of matte finish.

Once your new paintwork is ready, your bike will be re-assembled in our workshop and we will carry out any discussed maintenance or replacement of worn parts, so that your bike performs as-new again, ready for the next decade.
