Custom Choices

Every St Joris frame is built to the highest standards of materials and craftsmanship.

A carefully selected range of custom options allows you to make the bicycle truly your own.

Standard frame features

High-end steel

We only use top-shelf tubing from world-class manufacturers. The superior strength and fatigue resistance of these steel alloys make it possible to build your bike with thin and light tubing. Our slightly over-sized tubing dimensions guarantee an excellent efficiency – something that you will feel immediately when riding one of our bikes – and high torsional stiffness that makes high speed cornering easy.

Depending on your requirements, riding style and weight, we select the tubing size, butt profile and tube wall thickness to fine-tune the frame properties. Although every bike we make is designed for its owner, there is one thing our bikes have in common: they feature an unparalleled ride quality that you’ll appreciate more with each ride you make!

Stainless details

We pay special attention to those parts of your frame that are sensitive to intensive use throughout a bike’s life. You know, those locations where parts are mounted onto the frame, wheels that are frequently put in and out, they can damage the paintwork on your frame.

As a standard feature, we build those bits and pieces – dropouts, cable stoppers, derailleur mounts, bottle bosses, seat clamps, brake bridge faces – in stainless steel and carefully treat those spots before we mount any of your components.

Internal brake lines

We primarily build our bicycles with disc brakes. External brake cables are a no-go for us, which is why we make the extra effort to create internal brake cables for a clean look. Ease of cleaning is an added advantage as well as safety since the brake lines are well-protected when made internally in the frame.

For those aiming for the most sleek look, we construct all brake lines fully internal, integrated into the handlebars and stem with ENVE’s integrated cockpit paired with a Chris King Aeroset headset.

For those who appreciate rim brakes, we build bikes with classic external brake cables as a nod to the traditional road bike. To maintain the elegant look, we craft stylish stainless cable stoppers. Optionally, we also build your bike with internal brake lines if preferred.

Personalized build kit

Every St Joris is delivered with a personalized build kit.

If you already have a clear vision for your components, we are happy to build your bicycle exactly to your specifications. If not, we guide you through the process and help select the components that best suit your riding style, goals, and aesthetic preferences.

We particularly enjoy working with hand-built wheels and carefully selected high-end components. Among our favorites are ENVE, Chris King, DT Swiss, Deda Elementi, Darimo and WR Compositi.

Finish & Paint

We are pretty picky ourselves when it comes down to the finish of your bike. After having finished a frame down to the last detail, we would not trust just anyone to paint it.
