High-end steel

High-end steel is our material of choice to build light bikes with an excellent road feel and superb response to the pedals.

The selection of tubing and our custom tube shaping affects the stiffness and ride character of your bike and depends on your physique and temperament. The design of the frame and selection of the tubing starts after a thorough inventory of your requirements and wishes and a bike fitting session with our partner Pedaalkracht.

All of our frames are handmade in our workshop in Eindhoven. The materials and our unique silver brazing manufacturing technique give us the freedom to create bikes with elegance and style and create a flawless finish.

We source the latest generation high-end steel tubing from worlds best manufacturers. Steel is inherently durable, long-lasting and straightforward to recycle. All of our steel is manufactured in Europe.

“There are some pretty good methods out there for building a steel frame. Our fabrication method of choice is fillet brazing.”

Fabrication of our frames

For our St Joris – Road and Allroad we use a highly refined technique called fillet brazing, using various types of silver alloys. It requires skill and expertise which we’ve built up over the years by consistently focusing on improving our methods and materials. This technique minimizes internal stresses and distortions during the build process and results in superior precision and alignment.

We use round and custom shaped tubing to meet rider-specific requirements. Our fillet brazed frames have an excellent fatigue resistance and lifetime and we are proud to be able to offer a very discerning finish level of our frames.

Finish & Paint

We are pretty picky ourselves when it comes down to the finish of your bike. After having finished a frame down to the last detail, we would not trust just anyone to paint it.
