The first important part is the rider\u2019s position on the bike. Given a riders physiological characteristics, we need to determine the optimal position of saddle and handlebars, relative to the bottom bracket\u00a0before we start making a frame design.<\/p>\n<p>Some people have a flexible lower back. Some have not. Some people have long muscles. Some have not. These are extremely personal factors. Formula based methods do not include these factors and are of limited use in determining your optimal position.<\/p>\n<p>We work together with our selected partner\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pedaalkracht.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pedaalkracht<\/a>\u00a0to determine your optimal riding position, using\u00a0a\u00a0<em>dynamic bike fitting method<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-4 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>Over the years, Pedaalkracht has developed and refined their bikefitting method and have arrived at being known experts in the field.<\/p>\n<p>When we design your bike, it starts with a blank drawing with just your three contact points with the bike that resulted from your optimal position found in the fitting session: your hand -, saddle \u2013 and bracket position. By designing the bike with your optimal position as a starting point, your pedaling efficiency is increased and the chance for injuries is decreased.
